Ragnar Relay Series visits Lake Placid

The 192-mile Ragnar Relay Race finished at the North Elba Show Grounds on a cold, wet day Saturday. The race began Friday morning in Saratoga Spa State Park and traveled north mostly along state Route 9 before cutting over to Route 86 on the way to Lake Placid.

Teams were comprised of between six and 12 runners (mostly 12). On the 12-person teams, each person ran three legs of between about three and eight miles each over the two days. 227 teams completed the race.
