NEW YORK (AP) — Building workers are out in force clearing sidewalks in Manhattan even as this snow keeps falling.
Superintendent John Memedi (muh-MEHD'-ee) was shoveling the snow Thursday at one of three Chelsea apartment buildings he manages.
Memedi said shoveling is part of his job and he doesn't mind it. He adds: "What are you going to do?"
Emilay Chung was digging her car out nearby.
Chung is a nurse who lives in Manhattan and works at a hospital in the Hudson Valley.
It usually takes her an hour to get to work. She was pretty sure Thursday's drive would be longer. But she said she had to get to her patients.
