The Lake Placid and Northwood boys soccer teams pose for a picture before squaring off at Northwood on Saturdy, Sept. 29. Ryan Meyer and Haile Thompson each scored goals as the Blue Bombers walked away with a 2-1 victory. Meyer scored his goal on a pass from Corey Leonard and Thompson tallied after a feed from Hunter Wilson. Shane Kuzmenski scored Northwood’s lone goal on a pass from Alex Morin. Chris Kordziel stoped 10 shots for Lake Placid. The teams were coached by Stuart Hemsley (Lake Placid, far left) and Tom Broderick (far right), who have been friends for 20 years.
