Lake Placid has always been active in the winter months. Winter sports have brought visitors here for leisure and competition throughout the years.
Although the sports pictured here may not be common in our landscape as it once was, in other parts of our country skijoring and ice sailing are still activities that are enjoyed by the winter sports thrill seeker.
Please join us on March 22 at 7 p.m. at the Pines Inn for our Winter Lecture presented by Adirondack Architectural Heritage. They will be talking about the history of Camp Santanoni.
