The White House confirmed to the Watertown Daily Times Tuesday afternoon that President Donald J. Trump will visit Fort Drum on Monday to hold a signing ceremony for H.R. 5515, the John McCain National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019.

Trump will also deliver remarks during the visit.

The North Country's member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-Willsboro, issued a statement noting she had invited Trump to visit Fort Drum in March, and saying she will be there to welcome him.
