All farmers markets up and running for the summer

LAKE PLACID — Farmers markets in Wilmington and Lake Placid began their season this week — on Tuesday, June 20 and Wednesday, June 21, respectively — while the Keene Valley farmers market has been in operation since May 28.

Wilmington’s farmers market — operated by the Whiteface Mountain Regional Visitors Bureau — is being held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays until Sept. 5 at Heritage Park, 5753 state Route 86. For more information, email info@whitefaceregion.com or call 518-946-2255.

The Lake Placid farmers market is being held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesdays until Sept. 13 in the Green Goddess parking lot, 2051 Saranac Ave. Learn more at www.highpeaksfarmersmarkets.com.

The Keene Valley farmers market is being held from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays at Marcy Field, state Route 73. Sundays until Oct. 8. For more information, visit adirondackfarmersmarket.com.
