The Lake Placid High School Class of 2024 will be honored at senior recognition night at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 12 in the auditorium and on the main floor of the high school. Senior projects will be on display. This event kicks off a week of celebration for our graduates.

Baccalaureate will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, June 17 at Adirondack Community Church in Lake Placid with a reception to follow.

Commencement exercises will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, June 21 on the Olympic Speedskating Oval if the weather permits. Speaking at graduation will be Marcy Doyle as well as valedictorian Harley Cohen and salutatorian Jesse Marshall. Parking will be available at the Thomas Shipman Youth Center and the staff parking lot on Cummings Road. Handicapped parking, for the outdoor ceremony, will be available on the Oval.

Members of the 2024 Lake Placid High School graduating class are invited to attend the Alumni Banquet at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, June 22 at the Cambria Hotel in Lake Placid at no charge. The banquet celebrates the reunions for graduating years ending in “4” and “9.” Reservations are required.
