2024 Lake Placid Horse Shows start next Tuesday

LAKE PLACID — The 2024 Lake Placid Horse Shows are once again hosting two weeks of world-class equestrian competition starting on Tuesday, June 25.
The action runs simultaneously in four show rings — the Richard M. Feldman Grand Prix Field, the E.R. Mische Jumper Ring, the Main Hunter Ring, and Hunter Ring 2. Whether you are a rider, supporter, or spectator there is something for everyone at the shows. In addition, there is a wide variety of vendors for superb shopping, various dining choices, as well as an assortment of special events that make it fun for the whole family.
Over the course of two weeks, more than 100 classes of competition are featured each week. The action starts at 8 a.m. each show day with classes running until approximately 5 p.m. The Lake Placid Horse Show, June 25-30, is highlighted by the $75,000 Grand Prix of Lake Placid on Sunday, June 30. The I Love New York Horse Show follows on July 2-7, with highlights including the $75,000 Richard M. Feldman Grand Prix on Sunday, July 7.
General admission is free on Tuesdays;
Tuesdays: Free admission, $8 per person per day Wednesday through Friday and $10 per person per day on the weekend. Children under 12 are free; they must be accompanied by an adult.
