Historic house set for holiday of yesteryear

The Historic John Brown House will be decorated as a rural Adirondack farmhouse might have been in the mid-1800s. The house will be open from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and free, informal tours will be offered, covering holiday traditions during the 1850s. Some Brown family history, and a chance to chat with a guide about how the Brown Family celebrated Christmas over the years and other aspects of their history.
