John R. Pallotta
John R. Pallotta, 53, of Greenwood Street, Lake Placid, died Monday, Jan. 25, 2021.
Born on April 15, 1967 in Norwalk, Connecticut, he was the son of John and Sylvia (Gribble) Pallotta.
John grew up in Wilton, Connecticut and moved to Lake Placid around 30 years ago and found a home here. He worked as a tradesman including house painter, carpenter, and worked construction for many years.
John loved the outdoors, he enjoyed the time he spent hunting, fishing, and camping. He could often be seen riding his bike around town, often with his dog Rusty. He was always friendly and was willing to lend a hand to a friend whenever possible.
John is survived by his son, Dylan T. Pallotta of Lake Placid; one brother, Vito J. Pallotta and his wife Kathleen of Saranac Lake; two sisters, Joann Foster of Saranac Lake and Geneffa Lucci of Fairfax, Vermont; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents and one brother, Robert G. Pallotta.
There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced.
