LIBRARY NEWS: Back to school means back to the library for many

From the vantage point of the Lake Placid Public Library reading porch, the captivating sight of Mirror Lake framed by a spectrum of mountainous hues never fails to elicit admiration from our visitors and patrons. As the seasons transition, the picturesque scene remains a topic of discussion, evoking awe and wonder in all those who behold this remarkable natural event called autumn.

We are currently accepting applications for a rotating exhibition where you can showcase two to three pieces of your work for a minimum of one month and a maximum of three months.

Please email Bambi at librarian@lakeplacidlibrary.org with pictures of your art, along with the size of each piece. It’s important to note that the library will not be making any sales, so please plan accordingly.
