It’s called Dmitry’s Feast of the Peaks and Music Festival, and it will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31 at the North Elba Show Grounds. There is no admission fee; donate what you can for the youth center.

The community is still grieving, more than seven months after Feld died at the age of 68, and this festival is one way to keep his memory alive and pay it forward as he did for Lake Placid. Feld created the I Love BBQ and Music Festival and hosted it for 17 years, and this one-day event was designed to celebrate food, music, Feld and the youth center. We encourage you to attend and support our local children.
