As we wrap up the 19th Lake Placid Marathon and Half, I would like to thank all those who participated, volunteered, sponsored and in general put up with the event. While we had a misty cool day, the beauty of

Lake Placid was in full display with smiles, enthusiastic cheers and help from the best staff/volunteer crew in the business. Thank you all for showcasing our wonderful village/town and welcoming runners and their families/friends from near and far. I may be slowing down but I am thankful that I live in one of the greatest event towns on the planet. It is hard to come up with the words to show appreciation for everyone involved but thank you!
