Vote Sprague
To the editor:
Why you ask? Experience! Integrity!!
During my 28-year career as a trooper, investigator, troop commander and executive officer with the New York State Police, I was aware of and worked with the most professional and knowledgeable district attorneys and judges in many New York counties, including Essex County, as far back as DA John McDonald and Judge Viscardi. I have witnessed these attributes in the current Essex County District Attorney Kristy Sprague.
Kristy Sprague for Essex County judge is a natural progression of a DA, especially one who excels in all attributes of the fields of law and order. Kristy Sprague has been endorsed and lauded by the last three Essex County sheriffs: the late Henry Hommes, Richard Cutting and our current sheriff, David Reynolds. Kristy Sprague for Essex County judge is the right choice, and Krisy Sprague is the most knowledgeable and professional person for the job.
Two esteemed associations solidify what is known: the NYS Troopers PBA (Police Benevolent Association) and NYSPIA — New York State Police Investigators Association — have both endorsed Kristy Sprague for Essex County judge. These esteemed groups understand, as Kristy Sprague does, court cases should be based on individual case merit, evidence and, on occasion, good common sense, not personal emotions. This knowledge and the experience, professionalism coupled with the proven record held by Kristy Sprague are why we should elect Kristy Sprague for Essex County judge.
